CareMiles helps community healthcare and care staff record their work mileage and produce a claim. We built CareMiles to be private by default. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
CareMiles has no account and no sign-in. Your places, journeys, mileage rate and claims are stored only on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
This information stays on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to us and we cannot see it. Deleting the app removes this data.
With your permission, CareMiles uses your location only while the app is open, to show your position on the map and to help measure distances between your stops. CareMiles does not track your location in the background and does not store a location history on any server of ours.
To display maps and calculate road distances, the app requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap and road-distance results from a public routing service (OSRM). To do this, the coordinates of the points you place may be sent to those services solely to return the map imagery and distance for your request. These requests are used only to perform the calculation you asked for. Please see the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy for how that service handles requests.
CareMiles does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
CareMiles is intended for working adults and is not directed at children.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can edit or delete your places, journeys and settings in the app at any time, and removing the app deletes all associated data.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
