How do I add emergency contacts?

Tap the "Contacts" button on the home screen, then tap "+" to add contacts from your phone book. These contacts will receive alerts when you need help.

How does location sharing work?

When you send an alert, your current GPS location is included so your contacts can find you quickly. You can enable or disable this in Settings.

What is the Check-In Timer?

Set a safety timer before going somewhere. If you don't check in before it expires, an automatic alert is sent to your contacts. Perfect for solo walks, runs, or travel.

What's the difference between Sender and Responder?

Sender: You send alerts when you need help (requires subscription).
Responder: You receive alerts from family members (always FREE).

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. This opens your App Store account where you can cancel or modify your subscription.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → scroll to "Danger Zone" → tap "Delete All Data". This permanently removes all your contacts, settings, and history from the app.

Does Aid Alert replace emergency services?

No. Aid Alert is designed to notify your personal contacts. In a medical emergency, always call emergency services (999 UK, 911 US, 112 EU).
